Update; we have recieved a heartwarming number of foster applications and have been able to commit to saving a couple seniors! Other rescues have stepped in to help with others 💕HUGE thank you to our community! If you’re interested in fostering vulnerable cats in need, please apply! With your help we can save even more cats off the streets and in bad situations throughout our community.
URGENT: We are seeking foster homes for senior cats who have been placed on the euthanasia list at a local city shelter.
These are vulnerable cats, all 10+ years old, who have run out of time simply because they’re older and overlooked. We don’t always know their full histories, but we do know they’ve survived a lot, and they deserve a better ending than they’re currently facing. We have a deadline, and we’re hoping for a Christmas miracle for every one of them.
Most of these seniors are quiet, low-maintenance companions. Some were surrendered, others arrived as strays, but it’s clear most once lived in homes and were loved. Many are overweight, many have typical senior health concerns, and all of them need a calm, safe place to land. Without foster homes, we cannot pull them from the shelter, and they will be euthanized.

These cats don’t have much time. A foster home is the only thing standing between them and a final outcome they don’t deserve - euthanasia.
