March 2nd - 8th is Professional Pet Sitter’s Week! 🐾
I became a Professional Pet Sitter to give my clients the highest level of trust and confidence when leaving their fur babies in my care. ❤️
As a cat mom myself I understand how daunting it can feel to have to choose a pet sitter to come into your home and take care of your precious pets.
Being a Professional Pet Sitter certified in pet First Aid/CPR and Fear Free certified demonstrates my commitment to my clients - animals and humans!😍😻
It will be 2 years next month since I started this awesome adventure in Pet Sitting!
To think it all started when I was 36 years old and couldn’t find a job.
I was tired of applying online, writing and rewriting my resume and feeling disappointed every time I received a no, or no response at all.
Instead, I found the courage, took a leap of faith and decided to create my own job in a field I have loved since I was a little girl - taking care of animals!
Thank goodness I had my fiancé, family and friends that supported my decision but the biggest obstacle in my way was me!
Believing in myself was the hardest part funny enough.
I gained more confidence with client reviews, feedback, referrals and business mentors, (thank you so much for your support, it keeps me going). So now, I know I am on the right track and can’t wait to see what else this business has in store for me! ❤️🤩

First introduced by Pet Sitters International (PSI) in 1995. This annual observance honours professional pet-care providers, educates pet parents about advantages of professional in-home pet care and encourages pet loving entrepreneurs to explore pet sitting as a career! 😁
What makes me a Professional Pet Sitter though?!
✅ I passed the Certified Professional Pet Sitter Exam administered by PSI.
In order to keep this certification in good standing a certain amount of professional development credits must be completed. This ensures the pet sitter is always learning and growing with the industry.
Spring and summer are fast approaching, (yay 🎉), so please get your cat sitting requests in as soon as you can before I fill up!
