Meet The Herd ✨️ Hope & Holly

Hope is a 10yr old Shetland pony mare & Holly is a 3yr old Miniature Horse mare.

We bought these two together as the first ponies for our program and to train for skijoring & liberty! They have FAR exceeded our expectations and every day we find more reasons to adore these little ladies!

✨️ Hope ✨️

Hope was rescued by the woman we bought her from and had a very rough life before she was saved. She was emaciated with a dull coat and worried eyes (see photos 2 & 3), until she was saved by the woman we bought her from. After years of being on the mend and learning to trust, she had to find a new home at no fault of her own (her owner REALLY didn't want to part with her OR holly) and we were thrilled to be a good fit for her and for her owner to entrust her to our program!

She is currently pregnant to a miniature stallion and should be having a foal this spring! We are so excited to see her become a mom and are wishing her a healthy, uncomplicated foaling. She is very reserved with new people but has been making leaps and bounds towards trusting us lately, which makes my heart so happy that she is opening up to us. Her personality is shining through more every day and the more she shows us...the more we fall for her!

✨️ Holly ✨️

Holly is the smallest Equine on the farm at a mere 29 inches tall. What she lacks in height she sure makes up for with a larger than life attitude! She has no problem telling off horses 15 times her size and can frequently be found nipping at the boarder horse, Tango, through the fence; enticing him to play with her.

She is confident, loving, mischievous and absolutely precious! She is perfect for younger kids to learn and play with from the ground and we feel so blessed to have her here with us in the program. Holly will be travelling to retirement homes and birthday parties to teach about miniature horses and provide comfort to those needing a little pony love in their lives!

Meet The Herd ✨️ Gus & Petey

Gus is a 4yr old donkey Jack & Petey is a 3yr old donkey jack. They both came to us from a dear friend in the area and have been spreading joy from the second they stepped off the trailer. From family/friends to strangers/clients that visit the farm, Gus & Petey are always ready for some head-hugs from their admirers!

They spend their days rough-housing and basking in the sun with our AQHA/FQHA stallion, Diablo Dun It. They love coming into the barn and having a good roll in their stall also, making sure to evenly distribute the shavings all over their body like jewelry 🤣

So in conclusion, These guys will either have you laughing out loud at their antics or melting into a cuddle-puddle when they hang their head in your lap for some hugs 🥰 you've been warned 😉

Welcome to Little Hoof Haven ❤️

Together as a family, we have decided its time to launch an idea we've had for many years but just now have the ability to make happen!

We have always loved and owned Donkeys & Ponies from as far back as we've been involved with horses. However, it wasn't until late 2024 that the stars aligned and we were finally able to make this dream of ours come to life!

We started LHH with a couple goals in mind:

Firstly, we want to share the wonder and joy that is miniature farm animals. We find even just their presence can be so therapeutic and healing for people of all ages. We want to share that tremendous feeling with as many people as we can.

Secondly, we aim to provide a healing sanctuary for the tiniest of souls to relax and recuperate after whatever it is they may have gone through. Not all of our animals have come to us from bad situations but each one has a different past and set of circumstances that brought them here and we do our best to help them settle as they get used to the farms routine. They all receive the same evaluation & TLC upon arrival no matter what brought them here, they're treated like the individual treasures they are.

Third, we are very excited to announce that we are going to be a MOBILE Petting Zoo and educational service for fairs/retirement homes/events/birthdays/weddings & any other event or group that wants to add a dash of pint-sized fun to their day! *We are currently accepting bookings for events in the spring and already have an event list started for 2025!*

We are very grateful for the positive response we have received already since opening and are so thrilled to be able to share these amazing miniature animals with all of you this spring!
