Yesterday I spent some time with Cleo, our long term care. She was very happy to see me and extra excited for a car rude, destination bath..I'm not sure lol. We started medicated baths again, and she will likely need more antibiotics, but first we will try the medicated baths. We are also in need of a sponsor for a bag or 2 of Merrick Pacific dog food. If you can spare a few dollars or you can help out with a bag - petsmart carries it, and can be shipped to her home, or etransfer [email protected] receipt will be posted after purchase. Thank you!

We had to take a back seat for a while, we had a family death, and our dear Loki, became ill once again and unfortunately he could not pull through this time. He was the best boy, kind, and great companion. Our condolences to his family, rest easy big guy 🌈 🐾

Another neuter in the books, our friend Jake is all done! Many thanks to our amazing vet team at St Thomas Animal Hospital 💕 they are not a corporately owed vet clinic abd are doing everything they can to keep our vet bills in line. Being able to stay local now, is helping our adopters and myself complete our contracts with ease! Win win all around!

Have you met Bentley? Bentley came to us at a few weeks old, was adopted out and returned to us. He has been in our foster care for 2 years. Bentley has a fear of vets - we aren't sure why, but he would be fine never seeing one again for the rest of his life! This posed a huge issue getting him neutered, after a few failed attempts and with help from his foster mom and dad, perseverance from the fine team at St Thomas Animal Hospital, we were able to finally get him neutered and up to date on vaccines! He is happily recovering and is glad to have this behind him.

His surgery was not cheap but not the worst we have seen, we could use a little support so we will be doing a 50/50 draw!! $5-1 entry $10-3 entries $20-7 entries. Etransfers to [email protected] draw will take place on Saturday March 1 after 7pm!

Update on Cleo,

She keeps improving with the regime we have her on, we needed more medicated shampoo and prescription. Carters rescue generously donated some more probiotic for her as well. We are taking things day by day, and she's getting better, she feels better! 😊
