Tomatoes are starting! Crazy amount of basil this year, a few little cucumbers and jalapeno.
Garlic and onions are also from our garden.
First batch of tomato sauce is about to commence.

Very proud of our sunflowers this year, about 11 feet tall, thick as a tree too! We picked some potatoes before the rain...

We picked some potatoes before the rain, not great from two rows… and all scabby. So will have to preserve them instead of trying to save for the winter. But our onions did well this year, these are only about half of what we have. A few still on the smaller side so we left them in the ground for now.

Peas are finally doing well, a new generation just broke the ground too.
Little eggplants in a greenhouse, took a while to get them pollinated but it did happen. Big ones just tasted to bloom.

Calendula is looking lovely! Soon will be collecting seeds so we have a bigger patch next year. Oh yeah, and those grasshopper 😳🫣

Also flowers, so many lovely flowers right now, from potatoes in bloom to calendula, borage, cosmos and nasturtiums. And of cause, how can you do anything in a garden without Mister Helper Dog.
