Today we are celebrating miss Lacey as she turns 15🎉🎈

Lacey has brought so much joy to all of her lesson students, and truly loves everyone she meets. Lacey is an extra special girl who loves to dig holes, chew on zippers and buttons, and steal ice capps when nobody is looking. And we love her for all her quirks🤍

Lacey will be spending her birthday doing her favourite thing, which is laying out in the sun and having a long nap❤️

We have a LIMITED number of spots left for our 8 week lesson program that have opened for kiddos (anywhere from age 7-16) ☀️ located in Summerside!

Our summer lesson program is 8 weeks of lessons and consists of ground work, riding, and horse care skills! We have so much fun teaching this program and it is a great opportunity for kiddos looking for something to do this summer or to increase their cowboy skills! 🐴

Join The Barn for some Tuesday evenings in July for some horse fun!

This program is designed for women who may have been horse girls growing up and miss spending quality time in the barn, for the women who always dreamed of having a horse, or for lesson moms who wish to experience the barn how their kiddos do!

We will meet over the course of four evenings to learn grooming skills, horse handling skills, horse care and health skills, and fun horsemanship training techniques. This non-riding program will benefit anyone who is need of some barn time, and is looking to refresh their horsemanship skills.

There is limited space available in this program, so book soon to ensure your spot!

Happy 24th Birthday to our boy, Red ❤️

Red has brought so much joy to his person, Hannah, and to everyone who has met him. He has the funniest, goofiest personality and he makes life so fun! You never know what he's going to do and definitely keeps us on our toes!

Today we are wishing Adrianna a big congratulations as she graduates high school!!

Adrianna recently became a member of The Barn family and we are so happy to have her! Adrianna and Lacey instantly clicked when they met, so Adrianna wanted to get her graduation pictures done with Lacey. We’re so happy they had such a beautiful day to grab some pictures together, and to celebrate this big accomplishment. The Barn is wishing Adrianna the best of luck in all of her future endeavours! 🎓

Last week a special person had their grade 9 graduation!!

Happy graduation Ella! Ella was supposed to have her graduation pictures done with JJ after her prom, but unfortunately JJ had other plans. The day JJ passed, Ella decided to grab her dress and still get those pictures with her girl and we’re all so happy that she is able to hold onto these pictures as their last beautiful memory.

We wish Ella the best of luck in high school, and we know she’ll do fantastic because she has the best guardian angel looking out for her🤍

On June 4th, our beautiful JJ girl passed away. Our hearts are so heavy and we are devastated.

JJ was so special to anyone who met her and was such a vital member of our barn family, no matter how little that time may have been. No amount of time would have been enough, anyway, with our sweet girl.

Thank you to everyone who sent kind messages, and continue to do so. Thank you to everyone who met JJ and loved her as much as we did. And a big thank you to our amazing vet, who has been such a support in this journey.

We will never forget you and will keep your fighting spirit alive in The Barn forever, JJ 💜

Just a reminder ☺️ Our horses LOVE visitors, but please do not go into the paddock with them! It is ok to go visit them and see them over the fence, but horses can be unpredictable and we do not want anyone to get hurt. We prefer for a member of The Barn to be with visitors, as we know our horses best and can look out for those things. If you want to visit the horses and be with them hands on, please message us so we can arrange this!

Also! If you want to visit the horses over the fence, please do not feed them treats! Some of our horses have dietary restrictions and cannot have certain treats! Red and Lacey are also a little thicker after winter, so are watching their figures 🤭
