I was trying to get all complicated with building or buying a storage solution for my seamless paper backdrop rolls. Then it dawned on me that their own shipping boxes cut in half would be a perfect fit. A little glue and some tape and voila!

I spent some time this weekend experimenting with focus stacking ... combining multiple frames to get all the details sharp. Here's a quick peek at my setup: one strobe bounced off the ceiling for broad/ambient light and a speed light down beside the table providing the accent.
