Rolona Kennels was established in 1976. We have bred the most titled Staffordshire Bull Terrier in the world and have produced many champions, both in the show ring and most importantly in the home. over a span of almost 40 years. We have had multiple best in show awards, both at the puppy and adult levels and still show to a moderate extent. As well, we are internationally know for our flyball an

d agility players, having produced some of the top dogs for our breed on both sides of the Canadian American border. Sylvia Barkey, owner of Rolona, is a well known international judge and is continually expanding her judging career, which includes breed specialties and all breed conformation shows. At the present, she is licensed for terriers,toys and non sporting breeds. Rolona has dogs, worldwide, that are included in the breeding program.

I am using an old pic I have posted before until the show pics come out. This is AM CH Rolona’s Winter Is Coming. He was select dog today at the Potomac Regional Specialty in Baltimore, Maryland, under judge Maria Turley (UK). Thank you so much for the lovely wins today. Frost lives with good friend Lisa Lane and is co owned with Page Smith.

May I introduce Rolona’s Don’t Stop Believing. Tony came out today at 10 months of age. The Potomac Specialty in Baltimore is always a well attended Regional Specialty. This was Tony’s first show. He is co owned with Michelle Hornberg Wilson, who loves him to bits! He didn’t disappoint us! This morning he was Best of Winners for a five point major under judge Graham Turley (UK). He then went on in the afternoon to win the breed under Maria Turley, who also placed his uncle Frost ( CH. Rolona’s Winter Is Coming as select male. You couldn’t ask for anything more as a breeder! We did not have a bitch entry this year.

Our newest addition to the kennel. Welcome Shawrigg Roll With It. Cash was brought back from Scotland last week. Bred by Tracy Hamilton, he is the product of the pairing of the mating of Rio, aka UK CH Jackstaff Made A Boy For Amanda who was Crufts breed winner 2025 and Mirren, aka UK CH Bonnie Lass Of Angels Peak Shawrigg JW.
I had both of these dogs under me at Blackpool last year. The male was my breed winner and the bitch my opposite. I was thrilled to have been offered pick male. A stunning addition to my breeding program.
