Port Aux Basques and area Scaredy Cat Rescue A small rescue group in Port Aux Basques helping abandoned and feral cats and kittens. We have no shelter and everyone who helps is a volunteer.

Our nearest vet is more then 2 hrs away....or nearest shelter is more then 2 hrs away. Because of this, the people who dont spay or neuter t

heir cats just throw the kittens out on the sides of roads. We are trying to stop the cycle and educate people on the benefits of s/n and to start a TNR program for all the cats outside having kittens under sheds etc. All kittens are trapped and rehabbed in foster homes until they can be placed for adoption. Even rides to and from the vet are donated! Please visit us and spread the word. I know how social media can help just one kitty find a home...we need homes for 100's
