Today we started learning ground driving — and what a hoot it was! 🐴☀️

Pytor was quite the character and kept everyone laughing while we practiced new skills and built confidence together. There’s nothing better than spending a beautiful sunny day with the horses, good friends, and lots of fun at the sanctuary. 💛

Our Trailblazers had fun learning the parts of the horse’s body and the parts of the saddle through an interactive sticker game! From poll to pastern and stirrups to saddle pads, everyone was engaged, laughing, and learning together.

Hands-on learning is one of our favourite ways to build confidence, horsemanship skills, and connection with the horses. We are so proud of all the enthusiasm and teamwork! 🐎✨

At Handibear Hills, every visit is a chance to learn something new while making special memories with our amazing herd.
