Structure, not Shortcuts.

You want performance? Start with the foundation.

Because peak performance doesn’t come from quick fixes, bandaid treatments, or masking pain.
It comes from getting to the root of the problem — and building back, step by step.

At Central Alberta Equine Rehab and Wellness Centre, we believe in structure, not shortcuts:

✅ Functional conditioning
✅ Proper stretching and mobility work
✅ Consistent, balanced farrier care
✅ Nutrition that supports the body, and fuels repair
✅ And always… listening to the horse

No gimmicks. No guessing. Just real, science-based care that supports the whole horse — from the inside out.

Because when the body is aligned, conditioned, and supported, the result isn’t just soundness…
It’s confidence, longevity, and functional performance.

Join us July 8th with Countryside Veterinary Hospital for a Gastroscope Clinic.

Research estimates more than 50% of ridden and performance horse's suffer from equine gastric ulcer syndrome (EGUS) and it can show clinically in your horse in many different ways including:

- Performance decline or “off” attitude during work

- Poor appetite, weight loss, or difficulty keeping a healthy weight

- Behavioral changes such as teeth grinding, head tossing, being "cinchy/girthy", spooking under saddle and even a depressed demeanor.

They can be caused by many factors including:

- High-intensity training/exercise

- High grain/low forage diet or inadequate access to forage

- Stall confinement, travel, illness or other common stressors

- NSAID use/overuse

If you suspect your horse may suffer from ulcers, book in for a gastroscope and discuss options for your horse with the veterinary professionals from Countryside Veterinary Hospital

Central Alberta Equine Rehab & Wellness Centre offers ulcer recovery programs to help with daily prescribed medication administration and treatment to get your horse back on track.
