Breton Silkies Breton Silkies goal is to breed and raise healthy, happy show quality Silkie chickens to be enjoyed as pets and as show birds.

Breton Silkies was formed after discovering and falling in love with the wonderful Silkie breed. After much research, time and money we carefully worked to acquire show quality Silkies from reputable and responsible breeders through out North America. We are excited to expand on the proven quality lines in our birds and create the "Breton Silkie" , a firstly healthy bird that meets the breed standard

Last hatch for this year 3 bantam Orpingtons,mauve and chocolate splash, 3 Eastereggers and 7 Australops,blue and splash. Excited to hatch these as they go back to my dad's old line. Huge thanks to Shelly for keeping this line alive all these years since he passed
and for the hatching eggs!

So happy this broody little Japanese bantam accepted the 7 Coturnix quail and they now think she is mom. If it wasn't for my broody hens would not be hatching this year.
