Meet Zeus - a 3 year old Old English Game bantam rooster
He’s a 3 (ish) year old OEG cockerel looking for a new home. I rescued him last year from a neglectful situation along with several others where they were all kept in small cramped cages with inadequate feed.
Now that he’s been fixed up, put on a good diet, and gone through some training to help his behavioural issues, he’s in need of a new home. I have a lot of roosters on my property and he is a pretty hostile and protective rooster when it comes to other cockerels. I have a hen that can go with him if you’re hoping for a pair or to start a little backyard flock.
He’s a spunky, funny, and sweet little rooster, always running to greet me when I enter the loft. He’d be a great 4-H project for someone looking to up their poultry game, an amazing pet, and/or a good flock bird (as long as he’s the only cockerel, he likes to be the man of the house)
