‘Must bring a place cot for the second half of the class! We will start with the hike and end in the field by the parking lot 🐾

Come out and refresh your dogs obedience skills around like minded individuals!
This one day work shop is suitable for dogs with basic obedience, we welcome reactive dogs but they must be kept under control. ⚠️Zero leash greetings will be tolerated, we ask that all participants keep their dogs away from other dogs. ⚠️ this isn’t a dog social. our sole focus will be creating dog neutrality with different types of distractions.

Here’s the absurd part:
The same SSRI is prescribed for aggression, separation anxiety, leash reactivity, fear of strangers ...
How is that even possible?
One pill to treat everything?!
It DOES NOT work, because these are training and relationship problems, NOT serotonin deficiencies.
What’s more intrusive,
A properly used training collar that gives instant clarity,
or daily medication with side effects like lethargy, emotional dullness, agitation, and even long-term dependency?
Time to flip the script:
Ban the drugs before you ban the tools.

Confidence building!
Having your dogs conquer obstacles that they’re at first hesitant to do helps build their confidence! At first pepper was absolutely not convinced she could jump the height of these skids, with encouragement and patience, she did it 🥰
Each day I see this girl showing more and more confidence in new environments and it’s beautiful ❤️

This also isn’t limited to these breeds.
I’ve seen dominant, doodles, labs, Goldens, terriers, chihuahuas.
Dogs need leadership and clarity.
Yes we reward, yes we praise, but we also give fair consequences. And if you’re doing it properly, the dog should be determining what they find consequential, and not your emotions or opinions.
Think of the justice system and people!
Two people can commit the same offence and get the same consequences and both those individuals will make difference choices after serving the consequences. Dogs are individuals just like people. It’s not that deep folks.

Pepper is with me for 4 weeks to accomplish full off leash reliability! She lives on a farm and likes to mess with the chickens 🐓 😅
She can be reactive but that is just insecurity, so we have been working hard on her confidence building along with environmental exposure! Watch this girl turn into an obedient companion one day at a time!

Pet friendly stores are a great place to work on proper socialization and environmental exposure. If your dog is reactive to people or other dogs, it’s best to work on that outside of pet friendly locations. Don’t rush the process you will get there!

Calling all those who have never experienced the results of professional dog training!
April 5th at 1pm we will be hosting a free dog training clinic that will cover the basic fundamentals of how dogs learn and how to communicate with them in away they understand! Those who participate will be offered discounted hourly rates on private sessions to continue their dogs progress!
