🤎💛 ESABELLA! 💛🤎

This sweet and beautiful 11 year old girl has a compressed disc in her spine, causing her to lose use of her hind end. Her condition hasn’t slowed her down onnne bit, so her amazing pawrents wanted to make sure they did everything they could to keep her happy and moving. Paired with her vet care and rehab, her new wheels will help her to do just that! She rocked them right away and was so happy to have her freedom again🥹.

We hope you all had an amazing Christmas with friends and family, and wish you all a very Happy New Year! 🥳💛🐾

We this year comes to an end, we’d like to give a shout out to a couple of our biggest supporters, Pet Valu and Porchdogcoffee!🎄❤️

Pet Valu Brighton kindly included us in their holiday tree this year, and I was amazed at how much support the community showed to their initiative and to Determined as Diesel! We had soo many items checked off of our Wishlist that are going to be great for the animals in our program. Our quality inspectors had to check everything out of course 😉 and they give it all 4 paws up 🙌🏼🙌🏼. Thank you, Pet Valu!💛

Our friends at Porch Dog Coffee had multiple surprises for us lately, and one is still a surprise for the rest of you!🤫 but being the amazing people they are, they surprised us with a $500 contribution to our supply fund for Christmas on top of evvverything else they’ve done for us all year!🥰

I really can’t thank all of you enough for your support during our first year of officially operating my passion project in memory of our special needs fur babies that we miss so much. I’ve loved every second of being able to help families and their animals and can’t wait to see what this year brings!💛

Sweet little 8.5 year old Bailey recently lost full use of her back end. Her loving family posted on a local page today looking for some help with a stroller so she could still enjoy the fresh air💛 and many of you recommended that they reach out to us for additional resources (thank you!).

The universe works in funny ways, and we just happened to receive this brand new beautiful Walkin Wheels small wheelchair in the mail yesterday! When I heard Baileys breed and size today, I knew it was meant to be hers🥰.

Her family reached out right away, and with the consent of her veterinarian we were able to get Bailey fitted and ready to go with not only just a brand new set of pretty wheels, but also a Help Em Up Harness, a Fluff Trough feeder (kindly donated to us by Dogsage) so she isn’t straining her neck and back to eat, and some grippy socks to help her get around inside the house!🙌🏼

This girl is allll set now and we’re so hopeful that she will continue to thrive and be the happy, sweet girl that she is!💛

Thanks to all of your insanely generous support lately, not only do I have a small order of supplies and parts coming that I ordered earlier this week, but I was just able to put in another significant order that is going to help SO many animals🐾💛.

So many goodies are on their way and I can’t wait to fill the missing pieces of chairs, restock and organize these helpful supplies! Thank you🙏🏼🙏🏼.

Santa Paws came early!🎅🏻 in the form of some amazing people at Burlington Humane Society and Critter Cabs Animal Rescue Transport!🙌🏻❤️

Burlington Humane Society made a post offering SEVEN brand new wheelchairs to a rescue in need. Many of our friends and supporters tagged us, and no one else was in need of them so we were so happy to take them into our program!

Like many of these great offers, it is tough/impossible for me to get to some of the pick up locations. I don’t know what I’d do without the team and volunteer drivers at Critter Cabs who saves the day evvvery single time by getting the wheelchairs and supplies to us from locations hours away without batting an eye 🥹. I’m so proud to be a small part of their team, and am thankful that I have them in my corner. They’re truly the best!💛

Thank you all SO much. It’s so exciting receiving and putting together new chairs, knowing that they will change a deserving pets life for the better💛.

These popped up in my Facebook memories this morning from 7 years ago🥹.

I remember walking Diesel through our old neighbourhood with his Christmas lights and he made everyone that we crossed paths with so happy! 🎄❤️ He had that effect on people, he was the best boy ever and was so ridiculously cute ripping around with his lights 😂. Man, I miss him so much it hurts.

PSA 📣📣 You are all SO amazing!💛

A wonderful woman, who some of you may already know named Sandra Train created a fantastic and genius page back in 2020 to help support small grassroots rescues and organizations fundraise to help save and help those in need. This group is called “$20 for 20” and each month the members in the group pay $20 to pick an organization to nominate, and at the end of the month everyone who has paid votes on that months winner, and whichever organization has the most votes receives the pot of money that has been put together by the groups contributions! Anyone can join this group, and it’s totally up to you when you choose to participate. We were nominated for the first time ever, and I was excited enough about just being nominated!🥹 to my surprise, we won for December 🥳🙌🏻 and received $1,000 from the collected funds for our supply fund!😭💛💛💛

These funds will go such a long way in re stocking our wheelchair and lift harnesses that are high demand and we are running low on, as well as make sure that we have funds available for any items that are requested that we don’t currently have available.

We seriously have the best supporters in the world. We may be small but together we’re mighty 💪🏼 and I’m so thankful for all of your support in this journey to helping special needs and senior pets be able to live their best lives🥰. THANK YOU!🐾💛

We are feeling the love and Christmas spirit SO hard today 🥹🎄❤️. This morning, we received two extremely generous donations towards our supply fund and we couldn’t be more thankful.

Our friends at Pet Valu Brighton gifted us $1,000 towards our fund for Christmas 🥹🙏🏼 (they had me in tears at the vet office this morning!) and the amazing couple at Porchdogcoffee sent yet another transfer of $105 from their ongoing efforts and proceeds from each bag of coffee that they sell!❤️

Thank you doesn’t seem like enough for the amount of support we get from our community. From these funds, I was just able to purchase a bunch of wheelchair parts and harnesses that we have needed for some time now, to complete some chairs that are missing necessary pieces. We will also be making an order through the amazing and Ontario made JettaJacks & Co. as they have launched their own line of lift harnesses that will be SO helpful for parents and animals in need of rear end support.

Thank YOU for helping us to help animals in need 🐾❤️. We couldn’t do it without you.

How cool is this?!🥰 Thanks to our incredibly supportive friends at Porchdogcoffee, we were mentioned in a Watershed Magazine article! 🙌🏼📖 I got teary when they sent this to me, it was such a nice surprise for both of us!

They are making delicious coffee, doing amazing things in our community, and are spreading the word about our program along the way as well and we’re so thankful. If you haven’t tried their coffee yet, get on it! 😉 it’s great coffee for a cause ☕️🐾💛.
