Located in Bragg Creek, Alberta, we offer dog owners and their dogs’ information and training that is focused on living with each other in a respectful, healthy and positive way, and that will help enrich and maximize life experiences for both dog and person. Completed the Cochrane Humane Society Canine Behaviour, Handling Skills & Instructor Certificate in PACE Program, (Positive Approach to Canine Education,) and the Canine Handling Skills and Behaviour Knowledge Certificate in 2013 with 6 years prior experience as a weekly volunteer dog walker at the Cochrane Humane Society. Founded Fur Person Dog Services in 2013 providing dog walking, obedience classes, behaviour consults, puppy socialization sessions and information seminars on: The Nature of Dogs & basic Training Strategies, Dogs and their Reactive Behaviour, Body language and Communication Strategies, Dogs & their Play.
20 Years of ownership of 4 beautiful rough collies whose teaching and love has taught me much! Learning all the more from our dog Ben, a mixed breed who was a rescue dog and whose heart and courage and character is an inspiration about learning to cope with life challenges and enjoy living in the moment.
