Rescue volunteer & foster home for dogs, cats and feathered friends. Dog walking & housesitting services provided to your best friend. When you can't be there, I'm the lady you trust with your pride and joy. My dogs are family and yours are treated the same. I provide PERSONAL care as if they were my own. I walk one dog at a time to ensure individual needs are met and lots of TLC is given. Homemad

CELEBRATING MOTHER’S DAY – Sunday, May 11, 2025
In honour of Mother’s Day, we would like to introduce you to Clover. She is a sweet cat who was homeless when she gave birth to eight kittens in a garden shed. The feline family was taken into the care of Forgotten Ones, and foster mom Mary Ann describes Clover as “an amazing mom, protective and nurturing.”
Clover is only about one-year-old and petite in size. At a recent checkup, her veterinarian commented that Clover did a remarkable job caring for her kittens, especially given her tiny size, her young age, and the number of babies she had to nurse. She is an incredible momma!
To celebrate Mother’s Day, we invite you to make a donation in honour or in memory of your mother. Your contribution will help pay for the veterinary care for Clover and her babies, which includes spay/neutering surgeries.

Don't let this quintessential lady get away! Portia is a superstar girl who is now ready for adoption! We were asked to take her by one of our Ontario shelter partners because their shelter was full. She is one heck of a find! Good with dogs, people, housetrained, "go with the flow" kinda gal and what a face!
Portia is currently located in Waterloo.

They say "good things come in small packages" and Matilda is certainly an example of that phrase. She is a 12 year old, 4 lb. Yorkie who came into our rescue from one of our shelter partners. She was admitted to the shelter as a stray. Please care and share for sweet Matilda so she can find her forever home. BLUEBERRY & MO ARE LOOKING FOR A FOSTER HOME!

We have two lovely, but timid, cats that are in need of a caring family to help them become more confident. The pair were previously in a foster home, but their foster parent developed allergies, and they had to be relocated to a temporary location. Before they were moved, Mo and Blueberry had made good progress, and their foster mom was able to pet them and pick them up. However, they do require more nurturing. As you can see from their photo below, the adorable pair are quite bonded!

Bandit earned his wings today 💔. After months of medical issues due to aging and sudden loss of vision in his eye over the weekend, it was clear he had another painful ulcer or glaucoma. At 15 years old he said " Mom it's time to let me join his pack at the rainbow bridge". It a devastating loss for my family, he is the last of our 4 dog pack. All my fur babies have past. But boy oh boy do we have tones of fantastic memories of our little squish. He was my first small breed dog, rescued at 12 wks old. Moved in with my Rottie Blackjack and became instant friends. Bandit adored people, especially babies, was fearless amongst the large breed dogs we fostered and loved Oranges!
Much gratitude goes out to our Vet team at Mill Street Animal Clinic. Such love and compassion for Bandit in such a heart scattering time.
