Placentia Bay Music Night
Saturday November 5, 2016 at 7:00pm in the Anglican Church Hall.

Tickets $15.00 and go on sale at the Town Office on Monday October 24, 2016 or by calling 463-2323.

During the resettlement years, there was a cultural renaissance in the province as the Smallwood industrialization and relocation programs were being implemented. There was a sense that the outports and rural way of life were starting to be lost and as a result, there was a swell of literature, visual art and music that came out of Placentia Bay. Come join us for a night of song that will celebrate the music of Placentia Bay and exhibit the impacts that the artists have had on Newfoundland music over the past 50 years.
