⚾️⚾️⚾️Chegando mais bolas de tifton pré-secado para nosso Inverno! Com as geada o pasto queima totalmente e temos apenas alguns piquetes com pastagem de azevém para as categorias de gestantes em final de gestação e os desmamados em alta taxa de crescimento. Os outros animais são tratados com pré-secado no piquete. O manejo das bolas é um pouco mais complexo que o dos fardos de feno e o calculo de arraçoamento deve levar em consideração a quantidade de matéria seca (MS) e não o peso total do produto , mas a vantagem das bolas poderem ficar no tempo, a maior palatabilidade do pré-secado em relação ao feno 100% seco e o valor por kg de MS de produto aqui em nossa região valem bastante a pena. Importante ter um fornecedor de confiança, como é o nosso caso. Usamos as bolas , do já há anos e sempre com excelente retorno. Vamos que vamos que o Inverno está só começando! ❄️
🇬🇧More Tifton haylage bales arriving for our winter! With the frosts, the pasture gets completely burned, and we only have a few paddocks with ryegrass for the pregnant mares in late gestation and the weanlings in a high-growth phase. The other animals are fed haylage directly in the paddocks. Handling the bales is a bit more complex than traditional hay, and the feeding calculation must be based on the amount of dry matter (DM), not the total weight of the product. However, the advantages—such as the ability to leave the bales outdoors, the higher palatability of haylage compared to fully dry hay, and the cost per kg of DM in our region—make it well worth it. It’s important to have a reliable supplier, as we do. We’ve been using bales from for years now, always with great results. Let’s keep going—winter is just getting started! ⚾️⚾️⚾️❄️

Infelizmente minha DINA”saura” teve um pequeno perrengue que foi suficiente para nos tirar do Campeonato Brasileiro de Amadores Top desse final de semana, mas tudo certo…ano que vem tem outro…então o que me resta é curtir o Inverno com nossos pequenos peludos no HFB…aqui com o desmamado mais querido do piquete HFB DOUBLE TROUBLE (Dominator Z x HFB Speranza por Stakkato x Cor D’Almé)! ❄️🐴🤗🐻
🇬🇧Unfortunately, my showjumper mare DINA“saura” had a little mishap that was enough to keep us out of this weekend’s Brazilian Amateur Top Championship, but that’s OK… there’s always next year. So for now, I’ll just enjoy Winter with our little furry ones at HFB… here with the most beloved weanling in the paddock, HFB DOUBLE TROUBLE (Dominator Z x HFB Speranza by Stakkato x Cor D’Almé)! ❄️🐴🤗🐻
