Rijo finally found his forever family! I have never seen so much love and devotion, as I did in this young family IN Germany. Kay, Kai – I love you! So glad I met you in person! Dear friends and supporters, we have not been active on this page for quite a while. This doesn't mean that we have stopped with our voluntary rescue work. The three of us (Eli, Viki and Katia) are going through difficult times in our personal lives and we only have time to update our profile pages. We've had a few cases since our last post here, but we somehow manage. Please, bear with us, we promise to give you a full update on our rescues in the coming days. Keep warm and hug your animals

I do believe every single stray’s life deserves to fight for! Today I was informed of a cat, agonizing in the center of the town. No waste of time, I brought her to the vet. The results of the exams are no good – she was probably hit at least a week ago by car in the head. As a result presently there is loss of eyesight, symptoms of necrosis of the tongue, probably broken jaw and severe blood infection. The prognosis are not favorable due to all head traumas she may have get… Pray for the girl, I’m not giving up on her if there is the slightest hope! Next days will be critical for her…

Dear friends, this is Jina. She is about 6 months olds and… needs home. This spring someone dumped her in the house of a good hearted family who since then take care of her. The only important thing she misses is the freedom to jump, run and play…she has to be chained all the time. We are urgently trying to rehome her, as winter is coming and the family who are taking care of her are coming back to the town, where there is no place for her… So, this young and energetic girl, average size, extremely playful and lovable needs her forever home. Please, open your heart for Jina or share.

:( One of our rescue kitties had his leg broken :( Koko disappeared from the place he lived and was missing for two days. We searched for him and kept listening in the hope he would at least make some noise and direct us in his location. But all was in vain, there was no sign of him, dreadful 2 days... Finally, Koko appeared for breakfast on the third morning. I was so happy and relieved to see him, until he moved slightly and I realised his leg was broken into two. The broken part hanged motionlessly and it was so heartbreaking to see him this way :( Strangely, he had no other visible injuries, no puncture wounds or bites. We rushed him to a very good vet clinic in a nearby town, where the vet is a fantastic orthopedist. There, they did a couple of X-rays and it was obvious the bone has snapped into two. :( I keep wondering how Koko has managed to climb back into the yard with such an injury, he must have been so much in pain and has dragged himself, because his tail was all entangled with dry grasses and thorns. Well, after spending 4 days at the vet clinic and undergoing a surgery to implant 2 needles into his bone, Koko is finally back home. He has started a long recovery journey, but so far he is doing fine. Please, if you could, donate towards his vet bill as we care for so many other rescues, we are always short of funds. Here we go again in the search of a home for this lovable stray Rijo. Now, when his condition is settled and unfortunately declined to be accepted as promised in the shelter, he needs his real home with all the space he needs and time, spent with caring and responsible people. Dear friends and supporters, here are the updated news about my beloved handicapped Rijo. After a month preparation for his new place - a shelter in Holland, became clear that in fact his condition does not allow Rijo to be accepted as one of the dogs! :( So, here we are again - in the process of searching a new place for this wonderful dog, right from the start.
