Our breeding strategy is based on outbreeding. Combining the best classical bloodlines: Ervideira, Veiga / Coimbra, Andrade and Alter Real. With the aim of breeding functional, super moving, large and strong Lusitanos. Without losing the Lusitano's unique qualities: its talent for collection and its cooperative character. Lusitanos that perform internationally at Grand Prix level are chosen as breeding stallions: Rubi AR, Dragão das Figueiras SQT and Garrett SFA.

Roísín do Rei is a truly striking and powerful Lusitano mare, aged 5 years. Intelligent, kind, and nicely balanced in every sense. She is the kind of horse that seems to be able to “read and write” — quick in understanding & always eager to please.

Sired by GARRETT, a recommended stallion recognized for his Grand Prix achievements. Mother is Maestra do Rei, a champion mare by the renowned Olympic stallion RUBI AR. This full-papered mare carries outstanding bloodlines and undeniable potential.
She stands 1.62 cm at withers and offers three ground-covering and elastic gaits.

Roísín is exceptionally well-behaved, easy to handle, and has no stable vices. She is confident, sweet-natured, and is thoughtfully and responsibly trained by Florence Kerckhove (LusiFlows). Currently, she starts with some lateral work in her training and she loves to take a jump. So working equitation could be an option too.

She has a complete set of recent & clean X-rays (august 2025). She is currently stabled in Blankenberge, Belgium and is ready to enchant her next dancing partner!
