Happy National Holiday to all our lovely pups and their families 🖤💛❤️

We hope that everyone has a lovely day !

As we celebrate and enjoy the fireworks, lets remember that not all pups will enjoy the noise 🐶

🖤If possible, keep windows close to minimise the noise, and give loads of love and attention to your pup so they don't worry or become afraid ❤️

As the weather warms up, we have to be more cautious about how to plan out our days. This means that apart from hydrating, wearing sunglasses and sunblock, we have to be aware of how this heat affects our pups.

Remember to

1. Avoid all sun between 10am and 4pm when above 25*
2. Check the tarmac, pavement and stone floors/roads - if you cannot be barefoot for more than 7 seconds, then your pup should not be outside
3. Carry water with you everywhere.
4. Ice water will do more harm for your pups than you think. Fresh tap water (or filtered) changed regularly is best.
5. Mash up some bananas and Greek yogurt, freeze for an hour and give to your pup as a treat. You can have some as well - it makes a really healthy ice-cream alternative ❤

Summer Summer Summer 🌞🌞

What a great summer we are having 😎😎

Our board and training services are busy busy busy, and this means that we are always on the go!

We are taking the sun-filled days as the perfect opportunity to keep our pups active in their socialising training. We go to the terraces - we get an iced coffee and the pups learn how to be calm in busy environments, we get the metro to go to parks so the pups get used to the different city noises and smells, and we go for group walks. That's just the perfect way to get that Vitamin D 👌🐶

Confidence is a skill ❤ and we can make sure that your pup is confident and adventurous !

✅ Encourage them to explore their surroundings; let them get messy in the mud !
✅Provide the space and the time for them to smell EVERYTHING. Every smell tells them a story and they will learn from that story.
✅Play with them. Chase the ball or play tug-of-war with your old socks.

And let them play with other dogs (this is what we are here for 😀) HOW ? ❤

With your patience, love and emotional stability. When your pup sees you happy and calm while they play and they'll become happy and calm.

Remember; monkey see and monkey do 🐒

Myth Busting Mondays ❌✅

Do you still think that a good dog owner needs to be an ALPHA ? - NO.

❌Your pup will not respect you if they are afraid of you, if they feel threatened from you and being intimidated by you.
✅They learn best when they respect you, when they are not afraid of you and when they know that they can trust you.

You need to be your dogs' safe place 💗.

🙅 Plus, would you want your pup to try to assert dominance over you ?

Honestly, that's why some pups get a bad reputation and why they lash out.

🐶 Respect is not Domination, and Domination is not Leadership.
