UPDATE
Thursday early hours dutchess had 3 more babies which is 9 all up (a big litter imo for a first time mum), they were all born premature and sadly 8 has passed 😢
We still have 1 strong little girl fighting.
She was born 65g,
I have been feeding her around the clock as dutchess is finding motherhood hard to grasp.
First we started with miracle nipple and syringe which she wasn't taking to and she dropped to 58g
Friday morning when the vets re opened i took dutchess in for a check up and she is doing really well considering. I was able to get a feeding tube and have been feeding the kitten 1.5 mls every 1.5 hrs.
She is now up to 68g but we still have a long road ahead of us. Dutchess will lick her and go to her when she squeaks but will not let her feed unless i sit there with her and monitor the situation and even then it is sometimes hard.
It is a slow process but i have hope 🙏
