Preparations are well and truly underway... and Bugs has taken it upon himself to oversee one of the most important jobs.

Hay taste testing. 🌾🐰

Someone has to make sure it's up to Bugs & Friends standards, and Bugs takes his Quality Assurance role very seriously. We can confirm this batch has received the official seal of approval. ✔️

Behind the scenes, we're getting everything ready for another busy boarding season. The shopping lists are coming out, hay is being stocked, enrichment toys are being checked, and the pens will soon be getting their fresh spring clean.

Every guest deserves to feel safe, comfortable and right at home while their family is away, and we're counting down the days until we can welcome everyone back.

🚨 T-minus 29 days until we reopen!

We've had a wonderful little break to rest, recharge and spend some extra time with our own floofs... but we're starting to get excited! 💚

As relaxed and refreshed as we are, we can't wait to start looking after your furry family members again from 1st September.

Whether your little one is coming for a weekend stay or a longer holiday, we'll be ready with clean, cosy pens, plenty of hay, enrichment, cuddles (if they approve, of course 😉) and all the love and care they deserve.

If you've been wondering who the tiny bunny in yesterday's post was... allow us to introduce one of the Bugs & Friends crew!

This is Jerry, Kate's smallest bun with one of the biggest personalities. He's curious, cheeky, and somehow always finds himself at the centre of mischief... including becoming the latest victim of the infamous Ear Thief. 🤭👀

Jerry loves exploring, zooming around, and keeping everyone entertained with his tiny-man attitude. He may be little, but he certainly doesn't let that slow him down!

We're pretty sure you're going to be seeing a lot more of this little legend around here. 💚

No wonder he looks so grumpy, we'd be a little unimpressed too if someone stole our ear! 😂

Don't worry, it's safely tucked away at the perfect angle, but for a second we were convinced they'd disappeared.

We promise all ears are accounted for... for now. 👀🤭

We absolutely love our guests! 🥹💚

Maze is such a sweet little boy, and it's been a pleasure having him stay with us. Watching our boarders settle in, relax, and feel safe while their families are away is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

Knowing they feel comfortable enough to be themselves makes all the love and care worthwhile (even if it's in a makeshift pen). We can't wait to welcome you back, Maze! 🐰✨

🐰 A rabbit's got to rabbit! 🌿

At Bugs & Friends, we believe every bunny should be able to express their natural behaviours.

That means you might occasionally spot hay scattered across the floor, a blanket that's been redecorated, or a pen looking a little messy. To us, that's a happy bunny doing bunny things! 💚

Don't worry, we're on top of it. Every pen is thoroughly cleaned each day and spot-cleaned throughout the day as needed. Sometimes, though, it might look a little untidy between cleans... simply because a bunny has been busy digging, tossing hay, rearranging their space, or enjoying themselves.

We'd much rather see a pen that's been lived in by a happy, enriched rabbit than one that's spotless because they weren't allowed to be themselves. 🥹🐇

After all... a bun's got to bun. 💚

For a moment, we thought the hay pile was staring back at us... 😳🌾

Turns out it was just our resident potato, Pepper, perfecting her camouflage skills. 🥔💚 Safe to say she'd survive about five seconds in the wild before popping her little face out to ask for snacks. 😂

We love seeing all the funny little personalities that shine through during their stay. Pepper has certainly mastered the art of the surprise peek! 🥹

Kate's little potato, Mushu, enjoys nothing more than stretching out in his hay with a good munch. 🐹🌾💚

No rush, no worries, just a comfy bed, plenty of hay, and a happy little piggy living his best life. Sometimes it's the simple things that make our furry friends the happiest.
