Simon Gray Saddlery (SGS) is a small boutique business specialising in stockman’s and polocrosse saddlery, although any equestrian items can be custom made to order. Located in the Perth Hills area of Western Australia, SGS uses only the highest quality materials and every item is handcrafted with skill and precision. ning equestrian, including dressage and show bridles, and will make to measure. Similarly all repair work to saddles and tack is undertaken with care and accuracy using quality materials. SGS began in 2008 and has an established clientele throughout Australia and internationally, offering free postage for orders over $300 (excluding saddles and repairs). SGS is one of only a few saddlers licensed with the Australian Stock Horse Society to craft tack with their ‘.A.’ logo. Being a member of the Saddlers and Harness Makers Association of Australia (SHMAA) Simon is committed to keeping the saddlery trade alive in Australia. Simon’s passion for horses started when he was 3 years old, learning to ride on a fat pony called Lennark. Simon continues to ride with his greatest enjoyment being on the polocrosse field, and is a dedicated member of the Perth Polocrosse Club. Simon’s interest in saddle making was sparked when, as a teenager, he was introduced to leatherwork at Pony Club. He undertook work experience with a Perth saddler during his final school year and was offered a saddlery traineeship in Victoria upon leaving school. His training was undertaken under the guidance of several renowned saddlers and he has since developed his own unique craftsman skills and products. Simon offers friendly service and takes great pride in his work thereby ensuring every customer is completely satisfied. He is happy to travel to measure your horse and can arrange pick up and delivery of items.
