According to DW News, the pet pads maintain a comfortable climate year-round and include transparent panels so dogs can see out, reducing anxiety. This initiative reflects Germany’s growing commitment to pet-friendly urban design and has been praised for combining technology, animal welfare, and everyday practicality.

This is why I teach all my clients about whistle recall. Helpful if you can still see your dog but they can't hear you, like on a beach where it's noisy. A whistle will reach them if they run off and you can't see them. It's a very loud and unusual sound.
