Gidget shows huge potential in the pony dressage world and now 10 months under saddle, she is showcasing what a successful future she has ahead of her. With 3 correct paces, her canter being a highlight scoring 7’s and 8’s already. Consistently scoring high 60% including her most recent outing competing at the Victorian Youth Dressage where she had her first novice start scoring mid 60’s and placing against a strong field of seasoned ponies. Starting to train some elementary work, she is so happy to try new things and is very trainable

Super sensible and laid back pony taking everything we throw at her in her stride. She has attended dressage competitions, clinics and lessons. Also enjoys going on hacks, playing with horse soccer ball and popping over small jumps. Easy to float, catch, shoe

Would make a beautiful partner for a competent young rider or small adult rider looking for a special pony dressage prospect. Would make a wonderful breeding asset in the future.

Victorian Young Rider Championships 2025

Elma Park Twilight ✨

Gidget competed in the Pony Preliminary championship where she came away with two solid tests. Each had some little mistakes scoring 67% in both which placed her 7th in the 1.3 and 8th overall in the championship against a field of quality ponies. She also attempted her first novice tests getting 64% in the 2.2 resulting in 8th place and 65% in the 2.3 which gave her equal 8th also in the championship. Extremely happy with how far this young pony has come with Abbey in only 10 month under saddle 🥰.

Elma Park Eldora Night 💛

Benny unfortunately got a little connected to his sister on day one of the competition which impacted the quality of his tests as he was a little distracted. However day two of the Pony Prelim he pulled out a 67% in the prelim 1.3 which placed him 8th for that test. Overall he and Jess did a fantastic job over the weekend👏

Elma Park Allemande 💃

Rudi competed in his second ever competition and took the whole atmosphere very well. His first test was a little stressful being placed in the indoor with scary decorations by himself however Jess rode him through it and they got through the 1.1 unfortunately scores for this test where not great due to the tension. However the second test he was much better scoring 62% and coming 7th in the Participation Prelim 1.2. It has been a long road with Rudi developing the strength and balance to get around a dressage test and it is all starting to come together now. Looking forward to exposing him more to competitions and what the future brings with this horse. His presence caught a few eyes 🤩
