Sunny’s babies are here 💗💙💗💙
For anyone that watched the stories from yesterday, you would already know! June 6th, 2026, saw us welcome Sunny’s pups. We have 8 healthy pups - 4 boys and 4 girls.
We also sadly had one perfect boy who was born sleeping. I tried everything I could to revive him but he had been gone for too long. We cried and held him and Sunny licked him. His placenta came out much later and was a donut shape with a hole in the middle - maybe it just wasn’t strong enough for labour. These heartbreaking things do happen sometimes in breeding, it’s the side of the job that no one wants to go through but unfortunately is just part of nature.
So we now focus on the beautiful healthy pups who have settled in to life on the outside beautifully, with their loving and experienced mumma, Sunny. Later today we will weight them and announce the litter theme and their names. We are in love with them already 🐶
