☀️🥵 With the weather deciding to warm up over the next couple of days it is inportant to remember that our furry friends feel the heat too

1. Where possible keep your pets inside or in a cool shaded area

2. Ensure there are multiple water bowls available

3. Avoid walking your animals on hot surfaces, if going for a walk try to pick the coolest times of the day (this is usually early in the morning or later at night)

Signs to look out for heatstroke: keep an eye out for excessive panting, weakness, drooling, lethargy, vomiting, incoordination and seizures

How lucky are we to receive lovely updates from our rehouse pets - a happy homes update from Cinnamon now called Opie 🤍

Just wanted to give a quick update on "Cinnamon" now called Opie.

He settled straight into our hearts and home the second he got his feet on the floor and has bought so much love and laughter into our lives.

He loves snoozing in the sun and can often be found in his 'liquid' form! He such a contented boy and even the arrival of his little sister didn't phase him! And it often sounds like we have a herd of thundering wildebeests running through the house!

Thank you for allowing us to adopt him, he is so very loved 💙
