Reactivity training is not for the faint-hearted. Period.
It’s a rollercoaster. You have to strap in and commit to the ride. There will be ups and downs, twists and turns, wins and setbacks.
Two pieces of advice:
1️⃣ Be Committed
Show up and do the homework. Bambi’s pawrents committed to the process and put in the work both at home and out in the real world. Progress doesn’t happen in the training session alone—it happens in the days between.
2️⃣ Be Consistent
Some days are tough. Not every session will feel like a win. Bambi had sessions that didn’t go to plan, but her pawrents didn’t quit. They showed up again the next day and kept moving forward.
The dogs that make progress aren’t always the most talented.
They’re the ones whose humans keep showing up.
Because you reach your goals when you show up for your dog. 💛
