βοΈ Get Clipped βοΈ
I often get asked, why clip?
Clipping offers many benefits - for horses in work it reduces the amount a horse will sweat when being worked increasing their comfort.
In addition to this, dealing with sweat becomes much easier as you can simply give the clipped areas a wipe with a damp sponge and greatly reduce drying time. This means horses can be rugged up and put away much faster, and without becoming cold after needing a big hose down to remove sweat from a winter coat.
For horses with very thick coats, cushings coats, or prone to having itchy skin clipping means that they experience less discomfort and irritation, and again makes washing these coats much easier through the colder months.
Clipping is also extremely customizable! We can tailor your clip to your wants, your horse's needs, the areas they sweat, what your hugging routine can accomodate, and so much more.
Later in the season, clipping also means you don't have to deal with the shedding of a thick winter coat! It's a sleek transition back to those lovely summer coats βοΈ
If you've been on the fence I highly recommend giving a clip a go! I think you'll love it.
