I am so lucky, that I get to spend my day surrounded by these adorable souls. 5 weeks is the best age. They are so curious and playful, but not yet yet reached zombie apocalypse level which is how it can feel with a large litter of 8 week old puppies.

This is most handsome boy is Winston and he is the dad of our recent Old English Sheepdog litter and (hopefully) our upcoming Sheepadoodle litter 🤗
Winston is a stud for Brill Poodles here in Perth, and due to a change in circumstances he is in need of an amazing Guardian home in the Perth region.
He is a purebred Old English Sheepdog, has just turned 2 years old.
He is a gorgeous big boy. Very calm in nature and very trainable. He thrives with training, so would do best with someone who wants to put time into that.
His guardian owner said the only things to note is he has been known to dig and mark (as all males do 😅)
He has grown up with children, other dogs and cats ☺️

The 2 biggest misunderstandings about buying a dog from a breeder.
1. Often, you can’t bring a dog home as soon as you decide you want to get one. You usually need to put down a deposit to secure a spot on the waitlist for an upcoming litter.
2. Getting a dog from a breeder is like a matchmaking service - I know mydogs, you know your life, and together we find you the right dog.
If you’ve had your eye on a Labracadabra pup, now is the time to get in line for an upcoming litter - we have spots open on our waitlist - these are first come first serve. Fill out the puppy application to get on the list!

Today, I hung out with these guys in the pool, and it was blissful 💕
Being a breeder is busy. It's not 24/7, but it is every day. There are always mouths to feed, poo to clean, washing to do (truly, endless washing). Lots of driving to vets and to pick up and drop off guardian dogs. We spend time socializing puppies, beginning training, handling and grooming practice. And then there is the general, every day cleaning that is needed when you have multiple dogs and pups in the house. Honestly, i am amazed that there is any dirt left on my entire property. It is all inside my house 😂
There are times when I am just going through the motions. Even cuddling a puppy is an opportunity to socialize them to different types of touching, making sure they are super well handled by the time they go home.
And sometimes it takes the joy out of it. Sometimes, I have to remember to just be with them. To smell that delicious puppy breathe, and just enjoy their adorable curiosity 💕
