Saving Animals Matters is a self-funded, not-for-profit rescue charity based in Western Australia. We strive to provide a second

chance for animals who find themselves in the situation of being surrendered, homeless, neglected or abused. Our rescue charity operates by utilising a foster care system, meaning each animal enjoys a loving, stable family environment until they find their forever home. This foster process allows us to get to know every animal in our care, their unique personality, background, as well as their individual physical and emotional needs. Here at Saving Animals Matters, we pride ourselves on matching each individual animal to the most suitable and compatible home. It is through this thorough process that we can give both the rescued animals and their new human companions the best chance at a happy and fulfilling life together. We are fortunate enough to have the support of dedicated volunteers, however are always seeking new members to join our friendly team. Fostering is both a generous and rewarding experience and we appreciate each one of our carers. 🥒 PICKLES 🥒

Hi, my name’s Pickles & I was surrendered with my siblings due a change in circumstances for my previous owner. Thankfully the rescue found a wonderful carer who was able to take me in.

I'm a social young kitten (in truth, I'm a bit of a social butterfly) that loves dabbling in all things fun, amusing, mischievous, exciting, and thrilling. I am almost always the centre of attention and if I'm not (which is generally seldom), I'll make quick-work of changing that. I love to investigate anything and everything new. Goodies acquired from my exploration adventures are then stashed in what might otherwise be classed as inappropriate places (e.g. I once put a used tea-bag in my foster mums shoe.... that made for a nice 'n' wet, smooshy surprise!). If anything, I guess these antics will give you a giggle. All in all, I'm looking for a home that will appreciate my antics for what they are, good fun. I will provide you with endless hours of entertainment and will most certainly keep you on your toes. But please don’t worry, I’m not all ‘go go’ and can manage a bit of ‘slow mo’, and, well... smell the roses. In these instances, I am up for a snuggle!

So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? Due to my affectionate nature, I'd best suit a home seeking a companion kitty. Cats? I will thrive in a home with an existing kitty or 2. No kitties? That's fine... I'm ok with being your one and only! Dogs? I'm great with dogs! Children? I am great with children, however would prefer a home without youngsters (ages 3+).

🐾 Meet Sterling – The Little Silver Gem! 🐾

With a name as classy as his coat, Sterling is every bit the shining star he sounds like! This handsome grey boy is as confident as he is affectionate — the kind of kitten who’ll greet you with a proud purr and demand cuddles like it’s his royal right.

Sterling has a cute little nub tail, which only adds to his charm. It doesn’t affect his quality of life one bit — in fact, it’s part of what makes him so unique! (We suspect his dad might’ve been a tailless breed.)

He’s a curious explorer, a lap snuggler, and a total people-cat who thrives on attention and affection. Sterling would make a wonderful companion for anyone who wants a confident, loving kitten to brighten their home.

🎄 ELF 🎄

Hi, my name’s Elf & I was surrendered with my siblings due a change in circumstances for my previous owner. Thankfully the rescue found a wonderful carer who was able to take me in.

I’m a social, confident, cheeky and playful kitten who's sure to keep you on your toes (I like to get up to plenty of mischief!). I'm packed full of energetic punch.... always on the 'go-go' and seldom in 'slow mo'. For the most part, you'll generally find me engaging in zoomie races around the living room with my siblings.... the home quickly becomes an obstacle course! Play time is my favourite time. When I'm utterly exhausted from all our fun-filled antics, you'll find me curled up somewhere comfy for an impromptu snooze. In the evenings it's much of a 'wash, rinse, repeat' type scenario.... only this time when all is said and done, I'll retire to the bed awaiting your company... for a snuggle of course! I'll stay there (quiet) for a bit, or at least until 2am (or so) when I may, or may not try to wake you up for another cuddle.

So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? Due to my affectionate nature, I'd best suit a home seeking a companion kitty. Cats? I will thrive in a home with an existing kitty or 2. Hi, my name's Ember & I came into the care of the rescue with my siblings after being surrendered with my siblings. Thankfully the rescue was contacted who wasted no time in finding a suitable foster carer who was able to take us in!

I'm a stunning, floofy girl with a confident, affectionate and sweet disposition. I’m like a warm, comforting, soothing & full-bodied cuppa that’ll turn even the dullest of days into.... well, the best. I'll be your right-hand man, a kitty that's always 'got your back', your dependable, your constant, your friend and your companion. You'll always be able to count on me for quality cuddles, snuggles & everything in between. Let's just say, I'm a bit of a smoocher.

Now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? I'd do best in a home seeking a companion kitty. Also, one with plenty of food.... I love my food. Cats? Absolutely! Dogs? Same seelio as cats! 💗 FREE STERILISATION OF MOTHER CATS- PLEASE READ BELOW 💗

We understand that times can be challenging, and not everyone is in a financial position to have their pet sterIlised — but we’re here to help.

At Saving Animals Matters, we offer support for unplanned litters by assisting with the rehoming of puppies or kittens. When a litter is surrendered, we provide FREE desexing for the mother to help prevent future unplanned pregnancies.

Every animal in our care is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea-treated, wormed, and vet-checked before being adopted into their forever home. The mother’s free sterilisation procedure is performed by one of our participating veterinarians.

As a foster care–based rescue, all of our animals live in loving family homes rather than a shelter facility.

💠 BEN 💠

Hi, my name’s Ben & I came into the care of the rescue with my brother after being surrendered by our previous owner. Thankfully the rescue was contacted who wasted no time in finding a suitable foster care.

As I'm sure you can tell from my pictures, I'm no ordinary kittie. I like people. I like people a lot. One could class me as a ‘smoocher’. What’s a smoocher you ask? Well.... it's a kitty that absolutely adores, I mean yearns for the company of their human counterparts. The sort of kitty that seeks any opportunity to have a snuggle, and they’re not fussy where. And what if this kitty isn't successful on their snuggle request ventures? Well, you best be prepared to hear about it in the form of tail flicks, meows, head boops, knocking items from your hands (in protest), nudges, zoomies between your legs... Likely combination of those things. N' when I'm not curled up into someone (anyone's) lap? You'll find me fully engaged in an exploration adventure followed closely by my siblings... wait, I mean 'pride'. All in all I'm a courageous, spirited, curious & inquisitive king to be.... Yes, that's me!

☀️🌻 CLIA 🌻☀️

Hi, my name's Clia & I came into the care of the rescue after finding myself homeless, at a local pound with my kittens. Thankfully the rescue was contacted, who wasted no time in securing suitable foster care placement. I was a bit shy upon arrival into the rescue's care.... but my committed foster carer was undeterred, working work hard on re-establishing my trust in people. She's shown me a great deal of love and kindness.

My rescue journey has been a long but successful one. In the hands of our amazing carer, I've developed into a well-rounded, sweet-natured young lady. I'm a cool sorta customer that enjoys a spot of bird watching by my fav window in the arvos & snuggling on a warm lap in the evenings. While it can take me a bit of time to come out of my shell, once I'm comfortable in an environment and have determined whether my company is A-OK, you’ll notice that I become VERY affection-ate. The sort of affection that you’ll either think is ace, or, find particularly irritating. Yep, THAT sorta level of affection. Yes, LOTS of affection.

So now the important stuff. What sort of home will I suit? Due to my relaxed personality, I'll suit a variety of homes. Cats? I've previously lived with other cats so may adjust to a home with existing kitties. It likely won't be love at first sight however- the rescue is confident that with time, I will adjust well to their company. Dogs? Same deelio as cats... Careful introductions is key! Children? We have been in care with children and adapted well to their company. We would prefer a home however without young children (5+ yrs).

I’m a sweet natured lad with a social & confident personality. I’m typically one of the first of our cohort to explore new surroundings and almost always the first to approach new people! New= exciting and I’m all about exciting! All in all, I guess you could say that I’m a bit of a social butterfly. Aside from being an inquisitive boy with a thirst for adventure, my foster mother has otherwise dubbed me as a ‘smoocher’. What’s a smoocher you ask? Well.... it's the sorta’ kitty that absolutely adores, I mean ADORES the company of their human counterparts. The sort of kitty that seeks any opportunity to have a cuddle, and I’m not fussy where or when! I just can’t live without my cuddles.
