The cost of living in Australia has hit all of us heavily and over a long period of time. Nobody has been left unscathed by this and for some, it has been a physical and mental drain.
As you can imagine, Barkingham Palace, as a small family-run business, has battled away as well, including rent increases, electricity bills increasing, staff wages and product increases.
Over the years we have wrestled with every option under the sun to not turn increases onto you – our amazing customers.
This has included seniors discounts, loyalty discounts, schedule discounts and adjusting our trading hours to weekday only.
In fact, in eight years, we have had just a handful of price increases for our services.
Unfortunately, we must confirm there will be slight increases in some services within the salon From Tuesday May 5th.
We hope you understand and we’ll see you next time at the Palace.
