🐾 We're Hiring: 2 x Kennel Hands – Perfect for Animal-Loving High School Students! 🐾
Are you a high school student with a passion for animals and a dream of working in the veterinary field? We’re looking for two reliable, enthusiastic Kennel Hands to join our friendly team at Dalby & District Vets!
About the Role:
This is a casual position involving afternoon shifts and some weekend work (approximately 7.4–12.5 hours per week). As a Kennel Hand, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our patients.
Duties include:
- Cleaning kennels, cages, and hospital areas to a high standard
- Washing food bowls, litter trays, and equipment
- Assisting with laundry and general hospital cleanliness
- Supporting our team with basic animal care
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine love for animals
- Isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty (cleaning is a big part of the job!)
- Pays close attention to detail and takes pride in doing a thorough job
- Is punctual, reliable, and keen to learn
- Can work well both independently and as part of a team
