Meet Ebonie and Mitzy, 2 lovely sisters who came in for a routine dental clean. For both Ebonie and Mitzy, dental x-rays were taken to give us a better understanding on what is happening beneath the gum line, in their case their teeth under the gums were perfect. Both pooches had some mild calculus build up which under general anaesthesia, we were able to safely and thoroughly remove the plaque and calculus using a dental scaler, followed by a polish to smooth the tooth surfaces and help prevent future build-up.
Did you know even mild calculus (tartar) build-up on your dog’s teeth can lead to more serious dental issues if left untreated?
Your pet’s dental health is just as important as yours – regular checks and cleanings can make a huge difference in preventing pain, infection, and tooth loss.
📅 If you notice bad breath, yellow/brown staining, or your dog seems uncomfortable eating, it might be time for a dental check!
