Words that no dachshund wants to say - I have IVDD. 💔
A few days ago, I slipped a disc in my back while trying to get onto our couch.
Thankfully, it is only stage 1 so I can still walk, I am just a little bit sore and sad.
My pawrents built me this fancy new house which I have to live in for 6-8 weeks to heal. While I am a bit bored in here, it has its perks:
✔️ 24 hour room service. 🛎️
✔️ The small humans can’t get to me. 🙅🏻♀️
✔️ New bedding for maximum nap comfort. 💤
✔️ They wrap my medication in cheese. Cheese is life. 🧀
✔️ I am treated like a queen. 👑
I am very lucky that my pawrents took me straight to the vet so that my recovery could start quickly.
If anyone has any stage 1 IVDD tips or advice, please send it my way. In the meantime, I’ll just be here in my private hotel. ❤️
