Yesterday Lauren with her trusty assistant Nat judged the Pet show at the Corryong Show.
The pets were very well behaved and the owners did a fantastic job showing them off.
Congratulations to the Show Committee and all involved to run such a great event for our community 👏

We had a visit from this little miniature pygmy goat this afternoon as he was having trouble walking around.
It was revealed after an examination of the leg and some xrays that this little fella had a small fracture in one of his toes that was giving him some grief.
After a splint was placed on the leg and some pain relief was administered, this little guy was ready to roll

The beauty of working in a rural mixed practice veterinary clinic, one minute you are performing x-rays on a dog then the next minute you are performing x-rays on a goat.
They say variety is the spice of life 🐐🐐

This morning we had a visit from a dog that gave birth to 3 pups then appeared to come to a standstill with her labour.
The dog still had quite a large belly and when the abdomen was palpated by the Vet, more pups could be felt.
An xray showed us that there were still a number of unborn pups present.
It was decided that a caesarean was the best option for the health both the mum and pups, which saw a huge litter of 11 puppies being delivered.
