What happens when your pet consumes something they shouldn't?
As described in a previous post, we try to deliver emetic protocols if we're within the timeframes for success, but unfortunately sometimes we're not.
If vomiting doesn't get your pet to bring up the foreign body, sometimes an exploratory laparotomy surgery is necessary.
Here you can see an x-ray that clearly shows some things that don't belong in the Gastrointestinal tract.
Then you can see once they've been removed.
Thankfully this pet had a positive outcome and we're very glad that they are feeling much better.
