The adventures of this weeks groodles!
Mature lady Lucy, will do anything for a treat, even trying to give me paw for her photos 🥰
Cheeky teenager Toshi, suspicious when goes quiet.....me focusing on trimming his great big back feet, when suddenly his huge head comes to say hi, oh ok, we have eaten through the neck loop 🤣
Old man Oscar, was tired by the end and refused an after photo, was greatful, but just wanted his bed.

The Waffle!
This cutie gets groomed every 4 weeks. You can definitely tell by a dogs coat as to how often they get groomed, or how often owners brush their dogs at home.
Because Waffles parents want his coat long, they get more regular grooming, as well as brushing him regularly at home.
It's a lot of work, but it's worth it if you want the gorgeous long coat.
Waffle is a Shih-tzu cross and has a bit of a combination coat, mostly consisting of a drop coat, the long flowy hair that hangs down. This type of coat requires a lot of grooming to prevent matting and tangling.
So every 4 weeks, he gets a wash, blowdry and a big brush out to remove all the tiny knots and any matting gets shaved out.
I keep his belly area nice and short, as this helps his owners to manage his long coat at home. I trim feet, face and hygiene areas get shaved. As well as just a tidy up with the scissors over all of his coat.

Poodles, oodles and a Papion 🥰 lovely little lucky really enjoyed his pampering today, his age doesnt keep him back from being a spunky little dude. Love the ears!

The gorgous Zeus helped me do a video of the grooming process in time lapse.
Zeus is amazing for his pampering. I always love grooming him.
The first video is of him getting a pre shave before his bath. I do this so im not washing and blowdrying heaps of hair that I am about to shave off anyway! So it's a very rough quick clip, then into the bath for a double shampoo and conditioner spray before he is dried with a towel and then on to the blowdryer.
The second video is him being blowdried and then his clip.
He wears a purple snood to block our some of the loud blowdryer noise. When I blowdry his face, the blowdryer is turned down, so it's not as loud.
He was clipped with a number 4 blade and finished him off with sc******ng his face, legs, feet, and tail :)

Did somebody say Yorkie?!?!
Had these three cuties again today!
It's always such a fun morning wrangling these tiny, spunky beasts.
And who wouldn't love playing with Mochi's hair?? She just lays down on the table and lets you braid away!
If only my 2 year old daughter was that well-behaved for her hair to be put up!
