Buddy is looking for his forever home ❤️

Meet Buddy, a lively and energetic purebred Kelpie with an engaging personality. This little adventurer was found abandoned in a forest in pretty rough shape 😢but quickly began adapting to his new home. Although his exact age isn't known yet, Buddy is believed to be around 1 to 2 years old, displaying plenty of charming puppy-like traits. Since coming into care, Buddy has made remarkable progress, showcasing just how resilient and friendly he truly is.

With a heart full of affection and an incredible love for life, Buddy has shown that he's fantastic with kids and enjoys their enthusiastic energy. He has developed a playful habit of chasing cats, though he has never caused harm, demonstrating his gentle nature. Buddy's affinity for cattle and horses coupled with his strong work drive means he's ideally suited for a life where he can stay active. As a Kelpie, he thrives with ample exercise and would be well-suited for a home with space to run and explore, making him a perfect companion for someone with land.

Buddy might take a little time to warm up to men, but his natural friendliness shines through once he does. FREE COMPANION ANIMAL DESEXING PROGRAM 🐈‍🐕

A free dog and cat desexing service is being offered in Lachlan Shire by Animal Welfare League NSW on 11 March 2025. The service will be hosted by Lachlan Shire Council at Pat Timmins Oval in the SRA Ground, Condobolin.

To qualify for the program, pet owners need to be a resident of Lachlan Shire Local Government area and complete an application form available on the website below. 👇

I want to dedicate today’s “International Cat Day” to my beautiful Narlsy who sadly went over the rainbow bridge a couple of months ago. We got Narla from the pound approximately 11 years ago. She was the best cat and we all miss her so much. We love you forever Narlsy and cannot wait to see you again ❤️😭 😭😭
