Hi everyone!

Just a quick update on my end for kittens 🥰

We do have some expectant mothers currently. Hopefully we have kittens in the next few weeks. As it has been winter, the girls usually have a break and tend not to come into season until the weather warms up. As a breeder, we run on their time and even through there are medical options out there to make things happen faster, this is against our ethics. We always let the cats make the choice and have a natural approach.

I know we have a fair few people on our waitlist now, so at this stage anyone new joining our list won’t be able to take home a kitten until November/December. Anyone already waiting is still looking at October/November for take home. As usual we will keep making updates as available, but right now not much is happening except for a couple of litters cooking away :)

This is a perfect example of improvement of quality. The top image shows a kitten I was extremely proud of back in 2017, in comparison to a girl I am extremely proud of in today’s day. I feel like it is extremely important for us as breeders to improve in our quality, at least a little bit of improvement each year or season. It is important to nit pick, and selective breeding to improve the quality of cats we have in Australia.

Looking back, I am so grateful that my previous cats taught me so much, and that I learned so much along the way and I’m continuing that each year. There is always room for improvement and room to better the breed, both health wise and aesthetics wise. These things take time, years. It has nearly been a decade now since beginning my breeding program and it is only fairly recently where I am truly happy with the consistency of my type and quality. 🥰❤️
