This business was started with the intention to help educate people about what quality food is, and to help keep as many dogs as happy and healthy as possible. Even if I can only help a small number of pets with this goal, I will be able to honestly say I have achieved what I set out to do. The business idea came to me as a number of people were asking me questions about what they thought were “healthy treats” and “Good Dental Chews” when in fact, they had more chemicals and preservatives in them than most of the human food that we consume on a daily basis which we know and can admit are unhealthy and bad for us.
The goal at Pawsitively Awesome is to specialise in a sustainable, natural, Australian range of cat and dog treats at an affordable price. All our products only contain natural sweeteners (such as wild berries), are naturally dehydrated, and come straight from the animal (Roo's, pigs, ducks, venison, etc) eliminating any chance of chemicals or preservatives. We do this as we are trying to promote ‘head to toe eating’ which really benefits all parties involved. This helps to assure that you know exactly what is in the product you are purchasing as well as helping us do our part in the reduction of animal waste while helping to keep four-legged family members happy and healthy.
