JETT JUVENILE TRAINING - It was great to see Jett at the weekend for his 2nd Juvenile Training session. We trialed some different walking equipment with Jett this weekend to try and get his walk under control as he is currently pulling very strongly in his harness. Jett’s owners have two daughters who would just love to walk Jett so we are working hard to make this dream come true. We also worked on some basic obedience commands this week. Great session, well done Jett! 🐕🐾🐶👍

CONGRATULATIONS TO RUMMI 🥳 🐾 🐶 🐾 🎉 - Well done to the beautiful Golden Retriever pup Rummi and her owners for graduating from our Puppy Training Programme last week. It has been great working with Rummi over the last month and seeing her grow in confidence as we worked through our programme. Rummi has done a great job of learning her obedience skills as well which has been wonderful. Rummi is off to a great start with her early years education and it has been so good to be able to pass on some knowledge and expertise to her owners too so that they can continue to help Rummi moving forwards. 🎓⭐️ 🐶 ⭐️ 🎓

BEHAVIOUR ASSESSMENT WITH CAJU 🐾 🐶 🐾 - We were called out to assess Caju recently, Caju is an entire male GSD x border collie who is lucky to share his life with very dedicated owners. Caju gets lots of input, with a great exercise schedule and lots of mental stimulation. Caju and his owners have moved house quite a lot in the last year which has been a little unsettling and this seems to have coincided with a time of his life where he is maturing and growing in confidence and assertiveness. Caju has had a few run-ins with a local non-desexed Bulldog in the last few months and Caju’s owners just wanted to check they are doing everything they can to check his behaviour. Thanks in great part to Caju’s training and exercise schedule he is a really placid dog and we don’t see any reason to be concerned. We discussed a few strategies for helping correct dominant behaviour and are really confident that with his owner’s strong handling skills Caju will be fine moving forwards. Great to meet this lovely boy and his awesome owners, thanks so much for reaching out guys! 🐾 🐶 🐾

RUMMI PUPPY TRAINING CLASS NO. 3 🐶 - We really enjoyed our training session with Rummi at the weekend. Rummi’s owners have been working hard all week on introducing her to lots of new places, sights and sounds and they report that she is growing in confidence which is amazing 👏. We focused this session on recall training and went over what Rummi has leaned thus far. This girl is coming on well, great work guys! 🐾 🐶 🐾

WELCOME TO PUPPY TRAINING RILEY 🐶 - We recently started puppy training with Riley. Riley is a young male German Shepherd who is already a big dog (check out his ears, he’s just gorgeous)!! Riley is a bit timid and scared of new people so we talked about more exposure to places where there are lots of us humans to be seen. We also discussed a few changes at home like moving his crate out of the bedroom now he is older. Riley would also benefit from spending short periods alone as he has a few warning signs for developing separation anxiety. Can’t wait to see you for our next session Riley! 🐾 🐶 🐾

DANA & BUDDY - WELCOME BACK 🐶 🐶 - We had two awesome dogs rejoin our pack walks last week. 🐶 We were delighted to see Dana (Doberman) again after recovering from cruciate ligament surgery she is now back each Thursday, walking with her previous pack walking group. 🐶 It was also amazing to be reunited with Buddy again. Buddy is a lovely male American Staffy who walked with us some time ago and is now back in our Friday group. Last week he was pleased to see some of his old friends Charlie, Lola and Nala, and meet some new mates - Jersey and Beau. Great to have both these awesome dogs back with us. 👏 🐾 🐶 🐾 🙌

EVERYONE MEET GIGI 🐶 - We started puppy training with Gigi at the weekend. Gigi is a Shih Tzu x Maltese who is being a bit of a handful at the moment. Gigi’s owner’s main preoccupation is with stopping her from biting everyone at home. She also barks at other dogs, which could become an issue down the track. Gigi missed some of her window during the critical period of development to get out and about and see as much of the world as possible due to delays in her vaccines so the family are working hard to address this. We discussed lots of the basics during this 1st class, as it is really important for this busy family to get Gigi set up in a good routine. Watch this space everyone, as we help Gigi and her family over the next few weeks. 🐾 🐶 🐾

INTRODUCING JETT 🐕‍🦺 - We were lucky enough to meet Jett last week for his first Juvenile Training session. Jett is a great young male Labrador retriever who joined his new family a few weeks ago. Jett is fitting in with the family really well and has a lovely nature. Their biggest hurdle is walking Jett as he pulls extremely heavily when out on his walks. We discussed this and made some changes to the equipment being used. We also just went over routines and boundaries being set at home to make sure everything is on track and started the basics of obedience training. Great to meet his handsome boy! 🐾 🐕‍🦺 🐾

INTRODUCING RUMMI 🐶 - It was wonderful to meet Rummi at the weekend for her first puppy training class. Rummi is a young female Golden Retriever who is new to our puppy training programme. Rummi’s owners reported that they are still working on her toilet training so we were able to talk through this and give some helpful pointers. We talked about a lot of the basics this week to get the routines and boundaries all set at home and began some basic obedience work. We are looking forward to getting stuck into training next session. So pleased to be part of Rummi’s early education!! 🐾 🐶 🐾
