We had 5 new teams entered into their first ever trial at the Lagotto Club of Victoria's novice interior scentwork trial on 30th December.

I am extremely proud to say that not only did all of these teams pass, they also all placed in the top 50% of the teams trialling.

On Track Dog Training sponsored a special award to the fastest qualifying dog and it is with much pleasure that I can announce that this award went to Jackie with her gorgeous GSD named Kai. They did the search in just 14 seconds and placed 6th overall.

This is an amazing effort so a huge congratulations to Jackie and Kai!!

We will be running a couple of stand alone sessions where you can check out what it is all about.

The first one is running this Saturday 15th November starting at 5.30,pm in Camberwell.

The second one will be running next Saturday 22nd November starting at 11AM in Camberwell.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO TRY OUT TRACKING?
This is a unique opportunity to try out what tracking is all about by joining our 2 1/2 hour introductory session to tracking. You will learn what the tracking hype is all about and you will get to try out 2 tracks with your own dog so you can see if this is the activity for you.
There are no prerequisites...we welcome any nature loving teams and any dogs that love to sniff. You will be absolutely blown away with how powerful their noses are and how super quickly they learn to follow a human scent to locate a person lost in the bush (or a kid that has wandered off).
As a part of the session you will receive articles and gloves so there won't be any rope burn from those super keen dogs.
Classes are small with a maximum of 5 dogs in each class. All work is on a lead.
The two sessions offered are:
Saturday 15th November 5.30PM-8PM
Saturday 22nd November 11AM-1.30PM
Both sessions are run in Camberwell.

SCENT WORK BEGINNER CLASSES

Class 2 starting on Monday 5th of January at 7PM
