Looking for a worry-free night out? Friday Night Date Night is the perfect solution for those who want to enjoy an evening out while their pup is pampered and cared for.

Whether you're spending time with friends, a partner, or simply enjoying some "me time," you can relax knowing your furry friend is having a blast in a safe, loving environment. While you're having a great time, we'll take the pups out for a walk, before having a massage and enrichment activities.

Our first Friday Night Date Night will be 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟒 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟓:𝟑𝟎𝐩𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝟗:𝟑𝟎𝐩𝐦. For just $𝟑𝟓, you can have peace of mind knowing your pup is having as much fun on their night out as you are.

We will have limited places available so us now to let us know that you are interested. Once we meet minimum numbers, we will confirm your booking and invoice you.

Please note that this session is:
✅ suitable for dogs over six months that have attended our daycare previously
❌ not available to pups that have a full day booking with us on Friday 14 February

KEEPING COOL - RAISED DOG BEDS

Dog beds with a mess cover that sit off the ground allow for airflow under your pup which helps to keep them cool.

Ours were actually made for toddlers so great for kids too!

You can often find raised beds at the second hand store. If it needs a new cover, you can buy those separately and replace whenever they get damaged.

Many dogs are not big fans of fireworks and other loud noises but you can help make New Years and Summernats be a little less scary for your pup. These tips are also helpful for thunderstorms.

🐶 Bring your dog inside and make sure they have access to somewhere safe like their bed or crate
🐶 Close the blinds and curtains to block the view and dampen the noise
🐶 Put on some calming tunes to help your dog relax and mask the loud noises - we love using playlist with titles like Calming Puppy, Classical Chill, Lofi Covers or Acoustic Covers.
🐶 Use pheromone based calming sprays, collars or diffusers (Adaptil for dogs, Feliway for cats)

We see so many pets that run away from home on New Years due to the fireworks. If your pet escapes, you can reach out to the Canberra Lost Pet Database (Facebook group) to help relocate your pet. It is also a great idea for them to be wearing a collar or harness with your contact details on it. You can also update your registration details with Domestic Animal Services on their website at any time (at no extra cost).
