Little update,
Fi’s first time with a saddle on. She didn’t bat an eye, I have been working her with the roller on for a while. Just playing through walk and trot and canter on the lunge. And working on good voice control has really made a big impact to fi taking it all in her stride with having the saddle on.
Taking your time really pays off! To have such a great reaction from your young horse when the saddle does go on that a fellow agistee asked if she was broken in already was a big boost of confidence.
Can’t wait for Feb/March next year 💪
