SavourLife and Pets Domain have teamed up for a Road to Rescue Challenge, and we’ve been chosen as one of the rescues groups to hopefully receive up to $2,500!

They are aiming to donate up to $25,000 in transport costs for the month of September!

Today is the day to celebrate all gorgeous ginger ninjas!! Is a ginger kitty what you are looking for? Right now we have just one gorgeous ginger & white guy in our care 🧡🤍😻 The sweet and handsome Rastus aka "Gingie". 🧡😻

18-month-old Gingie has been in foster care for 333 days and would absolutely love to find his happily furever after.

🐾💛 Hello there, I'm Obi 💛🐾

I’m a handsome happy dude with the sweetest personality. Pleasing my humans is at the top of my ‘to do list’ daily.

I am the perfect family pet for many reasons including: good with cats, dogs & children; love human interaction; walk well on a lead, generally very well-mannered and the easiest boy in the world to train.

Being a Beagle my DNA makes me the perfect dog for joining a doggy agility club if that is something that would interest my 'furever family'. I love playing games with my little human friends and going for afternoon strolls around the block.

My favourite pastime atm is going and watching my ‘foster children’ play touch football on the weekends. There was some concern I would join in, but I knew I was there as part of the team's cheer squad. I am very well behaved when out on these special outings with my loving foster family.

I do enjoy being inside the home lounging on the couch and snuggling up with my human friends.
My ideal family would have children aged 6-8 years upwards that would like to play with me and a family who will include me on their weekend activities & excursions. It would be even better if I had another doggy to play with while you are all out for the day. My present playmate is a Maltese & we get along really well.

I am very eager to meet my perfect family!

Noah and Nora's carer caught them looking a little too cozy in their foster home the other day! 😹 But don't worry, there is absolutely no "funny business" happening here.

First of all, they are "just friends". Secondly, per CQASI policy, both of these cuties are already desexed, so there is zero chance of any surprise kittens anyway! ✂️🚫🐈

Obviously, Nora just noticed that Noah needed a good clean around his nose and mouth area. It is as innocent as that! 🧼👅

Just look at that last photo where they finally spotted the camera... "Excuse me, what are you looking at?! Nothing to see here!!" 👀🤣

CQ Animal Society will be in attendance with some puppers for you to meet! 🐾 We will also be running a sausage sizzle on the day to raise funds for the animals in need!

You can chat with our friendly volunteers about fostering, volunteering, animals for adoption, support our fundraising & we also have merchandise for purchase! 💜

🐶Cheer on the pup-thletes in the Dashi Dash dachshund race and dog high jump competitions.

👗See what is and isn't in style at the best and worst dressed pet and owner contests.

🛹There will also be an appearance from Sir Dobby the skateboarding cat, kids' activities, food vendors and market stalls from local pet businesses.

And don't forget to snap a photo with Tom and Tahnee, animated characters used in our education program to teach local children about pet safety and responsible pet ownership.
