Extreme heat alert 🚨
Tomorrow is gonna be a hot one 🥵

Make sure your pet has plenty of clean fresh water as well as extra water sources in case of spillage. If they are outside, it's important to provide your pet with a cool, shaded area with good ventilation. Good ventilation is particularly important as many animals cool down by panting which requires good air flow. Never walk your dog in extreme temperatures. If your feet can’t handle the pavement, neither can theirs! Hot days are not for exercise. Heat stress can happen in 32 degrees, don’t risk it. Also know the signs of heat stress such excessive panting, thick saliva and lots of drooling, increased thirst, then more severe signs like weakness, changes in gum color, vomiting etc. This can be vital in saving your best furry friend’s life. Stay safe and stay cool.

I absolutely love my job but it breaks my heart when I see doggos in this condition. She was matted to the skin, and this was only 4 months since her last groom. I see this too often and others that are a lot worse with more than 2 years of no grooming.

Regular brushing (down to the skin) and care is needed to make sure our pups are kept comfortable and matt free. If you can’t keep up with regular brushing, then keeping your dogs hair longer just isn’t an option for your lifestyle. The dogs health and comfort MUST come first.
