I have sent out a message to those who were on the wait list for lessons, if I have missed you or you wish to be put on the list for lessons please message me and I will squeeze you in!

I am home for good this Friday! Available for lessons any day of the week and client horse spots are filling up!

Our small team spent the past week in Caboolture at QSEC for the festival of showjumping.

In tow was ‘perfect time’ and ‘Isabelle rose’ where both mares picked up multiple placings in large classes (over 80 riders per class).

A reminder that Mackenzie is set to finish the last of her studies from the 22nd July - 1st September so lessons will be very limited within this time however we are looking for someone to help assist with the care of the horses while Mackenzie is away and we are also open to taking on a young keen horse person who is available and capable to groom at shows (stay away shows), payment will be discussed.

Unfortunately I am at full capacity for regular students/lessons. However if you wish to be put on the wait list you will have the opportunity to be squeezed in if a cancellation arises. Please get in contact if you wish to be put on the wait/cancellation list 😊

We currently have spots available for training in the new year (2024)!
Mackenzie has extensive knowledge and experience in dressage and has been creating a name for herself in the showjumping scene for the last 2 years (with an eventing background).

Mackenzie cater’s for horses of all disciplines and has experienced riding all types of horses, from green broke to schoolmasters. Mackenzie focuses on correct basics and foundations setting the horse up for a successful future in whichever chosen discipline.

Horses and heatwaves 🥵

Those of you who have lessons this week it’s extremely important to look after yourself and your best friend 🐴 during this heat!

Make sure you bring plenty of water for yourself and remember I have wash bays at everyone convenience so please feel free to use these to make sure your horse is cooled down properly and appropriately at the end of your lesson!
It’s also very important to walk your horse after your lesson for 5-10min to allow them to cool down.

And adding electrolytes to their feed helps them recover!

Very excited and proud to say that on the weekend some friends of mine and myself competed at the state team championships. We walked away with reserve champions after an amazing weekend filled with some awesome rounds of jumping!

We spent our weekend in Gracemere at the REGI spring into summer series where we picked up 1st & 4th! 🥇

LESSONS!
I’m booked out for lessons next week and we’re heading away to burpengary for a teams show jumping event.

We’re one step closer!
stable is finally up and now just yards to do (and still the border for the arena but it’s a process 🤭)

Will be some very spoilt horses in the next month!

Managed to find some spare time to head over to pony club today to help out my student Indi. Was definitely a positive confidence building day

Well it’s all coming together!
definitely not finished yet but the surface is okay to ride on and hopefully in the next week the stables will be done closely followed with the yards!
I’ll be on placement when this all happens unfortunately but hopefully i’ll have some spare time and be able to come home and help out!
